By creating an account on Cigarato, you agree to these terms. If you disagree with any part, please do not use the service.

Cigarato provides personalized cigar recommendations, collection tracking, journaling, and educational content. We are an information and utility platform. We are not a tobacco retailer and do not sell, distribute, or promote the purchase of cigars or any tobacco products.

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal smoking age in your jurisdiction)
• One account per person
• You must provide accurate information (a real, working email address)
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password

You agree NOT to:

• Create fake accounts or impersonate others
• Scrape, crawl, or reverse-engineer any part of the service
• Attempt to use the service for purposes unrelated to cigars
• Upload illegal, offensive, or harmful content
• Spam, harass, or abuse other users (when community features are available)
• Use the service to violate any applicable law

• We own: The Cigarato platform, recommendation engine, catalog data, brand assets, and all software
• You own: Your journal entries, photos, tasting notes, and personal data
• You grant us: A license to use your data solely for providing and improving the service (not for advertising or resale)

• Free tier: No payment required, available indefinitely
• Premium: Billed monthly or annually via our payment processor
• Cancellation: Cancel anytime; you retain access until the end of your billing period
• Refunds: No refunds for partial billing periods — cancel before your renewal date
• Price changes: We'll provide 30 days notice before any price increase

• Recommendations are informational only — not medical, health, or safety advice
• Cigarato does not encourage tobacco use or claim any health benefits of smoking
• Recommendations are based on taste preference data, not health considerations
• Recommendations may occasionally be imperfect — they are a guide, not an authority
• You are solely responsible for your purchasing and consumption decisions

• The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for purchases made based on recommendations
• Our maximum liability is limited to the fees you've paid in the preceding 12 months
• We do not guarantee 100% uptime (though we target 99.9% availability)

• By you: Delete your account anytime (Settings → Your Data → Delete Account). All data is removed within 30 days.
• By us: We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms (with notice where possible).

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable federal and state law.
